Termination

If the employment of a member ceases without payment of benefits under these Regulations becoming due, then the member shall leave the Pension Fund on the last day of the Company's obligation to pay salary, and payment of a termination benefit shall become due.

The same shall apply if the annual salary is likely to remain under the minimum insured salary laid down by Art. 2 of the Swiss Federal Law on Occupational Retirement, Survivors’ and Disability Pension Plans (BVG).

Vested benefits can be transferred to:

  2. a bank's vested benefits foundation or
  3. an insurance company and credited to a vested benefits policy

Insured members can apply for a cash withdrawal if:

  1. they leave Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein permanently
  2. they take on freelance status and are no longer subject to compulsory employee benefit insurance
  3. their termination benefit is less than their annual contribution
